Comedy Village, the Hell's Kitchen comedy club founded by comedian PJ Landers, will host a lineup of stand-up favorites and rising stars during the 2026 New York Comedy Festival, running November 6-15 across New York City. This marks the third consecutive year the club has participated in the festival, solidifying its position as a key venue for both established and emerging comedic talent.
The club's involvement matters because it highlights the enduring partnership between a local comedy hub and the largest and longest-running annual comedy festival in the United States. The New York Comedy Festival, founded in 2004 by Caroline Hirsch, brings together major names and emerging talent for 10 days of performances citywide. Comedy Village's participation helps sustain that ecosystem by providing a stage for a diverse range of comedians, from festival headliners to up-and-coming acts.
This year's lineup at Comedy Village features a mix of unique voices. On Sunday, November 8, the Sweet & Sour Chicks Comedy Tour with Kiki Yeung and Esther Ku takes the stage at 7:00 PM. Tuesday, November 10 brings Late for School Starring Jimmy Cash at 7:00 PM. On Wednesday, November 11, audiences can catch Samuel Orson at 7:00 PM, followed by the Headliner Series with Lance Weiss at 7:00 PM. Thursday, November 12 features Billie Lee at 7:00 PM and Paige Gallagher at 9:30 PM. Additional shows and performers may be announced, and the schedule is subject to change.
PJ Landers praised the festival's founder, saying, "New York City is the greatest comedy city in the world, and Caroline Hirsch has played an enormous role in making it that way. What Caroline has built with the New York Comedy Festival is extraordinary. She took an idea and turned it into the largest and longest-running annual comedy festival in the United States, while creating a platform that brings together the biggest names in comedy with the comedians who are going to be the next big names. We're proud to join the festival for a third year, showcasing the brightest talent on Comedy Village stages this November."
Comedy Village's state-of-the-art, two-story venue near Times Square and Broadway theaters offers an intimate setting with two shows nightly, seven days a week. The club's move to Hell's Kitchen in 2024 positioned it in the heart of the city's vibrant comedy scene, attracting both locals and tourists. By hosting festival events, Comedy Village not only elevates its own profile but also contributes to the festival's mission of celebrating New York's unique role as the home of stand-up comedy.
